Information we collect
NoteOnTheRoad stores the account details you provide, notes you create, note recipients, delivery status, and location data that is needed to place and unlock notes. When you use Google or Facebook login, we receive basic profile information such as your provider ID, name, and email address.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, keep your account secure, show your notes on the map, deliver notes to recipients, support invite links, and help you find Facebook friends who have also authorized the app.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Notes and delivery information are shared only with the people selected by the sender or with users who open a valid invite link. Facebook friend data is used only inside NoteOnTheRoad and only for friends who also authorized the app.
Retention and deletion
Account and note data is kept while the account is active or while it is needed to provide the service. You can delete your account directly inside the iOS app. You can also request deletion by emailing info@noteontheroad.com.
